Paper: Certifications - Our paper is Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified by "Preferred by Nature", SFI® Certified Sourcing, acid-free for archival quality.  Made in both the USA and Canada. Mills - Paper mills are largely fuelled by renewable energy (70%) and recycle the materials used during the manufacturing of the paper. Paper process - During paper manufacturing, water is reused 10 times to reduce water usage, while treating and returning 90% of the water used to watersheds. Ribbons: Ribbon duos are 100% recycled plastic. Cover materials: Materials include Lenzing™ Ecovero™ fibers and 100% viscose, both of which are vegan.  Opting for these materials rather than traditional polyurethane covers has eliminated the need for 2.7+ tons of plastic material (vegan leather) across our collections to date.  Gold foil - Gold foiling decoration is aluminum and lacquer; it is emissions-free with no wet varnishes.
